Intuitive Painting for healing and mental well-being.
Exploring your mind and emotions through self expression.
What is intuitive paint therapy?
Intuitive paint therapy is a form of Art therapy. It’s a method that invites you to explore your emotions, improve your self-esteem, relieve stress, improve symptoms of anxiety and depression, and live from your true, authentic self.
Art therapy includes a wide range of creative techniques such as drawing, painting, collage and coloring to help people express themselves artistically. This type of intuitive self-expression has therapeutic value for those who are healing or seeking deeper understanding of their true selves.
Intuitive painting can be used as a springboard for releasing emotions, reawakening memories and telling stories that may reveal messages and beliefs from the unconscious mind.
As an art therapist, I am trained to guide you through the creative process, helping you to reveal your hidden emotions, thoughts and “decode” the nonverbal messages, symbols, and metaphors often found in these forms of expression.
Why art therapy?
Art therapy will empower you to let go of your self-judgment and inner critic, both of which prevent you from developing an authentic creative flow in your life.
The process can help you communicate, overcome stress, anxieties, develop your creativity, heal blockages due to traumas, and explore different aspects of your own personalities.
Through our work together, you will:
- Learn to trust what you feel and sense.
- Expand your creative thinking and creative living (opening your mind to more ideas, expanding your mind to think in ways it never had before, coming up with new and better solutions and visions).
- Discover new and real parts within yourself that you never knew existed before.
- Develop your own creative style that is beyond any learned technique.
- Feel a deeper sense of connection to yourself and to others.
- Generate self-compassion and inner strength and stability.
Do you have a burning desire to be creative, but keep telling yourself you’ll do it “later”?
And the “later” never comes?
How I came to art therapy
I’m an unlikely artist.
I never spent hours painting and being creative – either growing up or as an adult.
I remember feeling the desire for creativity burning within me, but instead of following it, I repressed and ignored it.
I was too stuck in my fears and too loyal to my own perfectionism. But the desire to create didn’t go away.
Each time I saw a beautiful piece of art or a genius creative project, I was filled with jealousy and sadness.
Finally in 2012 I discovered art therapy and intuitive painting.
I had to drop all my ideas of how I “should” paint and how the end product “should” look. Instead, I learned to explore, listen to my body’s impulses and trust what my soul wanted to give birth to.
I learned to heal my fears and perfectionism and to access my creativity in a very deep and meaningful way.
I became a licensed paint therapist because I wanted to bring this deep joy and satisfaction to others.
In this amazing deep process I have learned:
- To heal my fears and perfectionism and access my creativity through art therapy
- Guide and heal others with my experience and the tools of expressive paint therapy.
I love guiding, helping, and coaching other creative souls to heal and unlock their creativity because I know where they’re coming from.
We speak the same language, and I know exactly where their blockages, fears and feeling of being stuck are coming from. I have been there and still sometimes. But I know how to overcome it and im here to teach you the same.
